Ok I know I shouldn't be allowed near a computer but basically...

Wanted to install corel paint shop pro x and it wouldn't work because I already had the trial version on the pc....and it said to uninstall...I deleted and it (yes I know there was an uninstall bit but I got carried away!!LOL) still won't work...can't see where to uninstall in now because its not in my control panel bit...

have i wasted my money or is there a way round this?

Thank you xxx

if it comes to it, try reinstalling the trial and then uninstalling it properly, and follow the instructions - dont just delete :D

Run Ccleaner http://www.ccleaner.com/ Then reinstall Paint Shop Pro

This wont work as ccleaner only runs the uninstaller form within ccleaner instead of the control panel and if the uninstaller is missing it wont work anyway.

aardvarkuk I thought it would work. It clean out the bits that are left, because poppyolivia has deleted the folder with PSP in it .
I wasnt suggesting to run the uninstaller in Ccleaner just run the registry clean up on it.
  • Oh I see

I dont trust the registry cleaner one jot, I would run regedit and find the keys manually.
