Radeon or Nvidia Graphics cards.

I'm thinking of buying the Inspiron 530 from Dell (quadcore Q6600 processor and 2048 DDR) with a Radeon HD 2600XT Graphics card.
I was wondering whether this graphics card is any good for playing the likes of Crysis and Call of Duty 4 etc?
And also, how this graphic card compares to the Nvidia 8800 GT or GTX?

I can't answer your question, but be aware that this PC doesn't have PCI sockets for mouse/keyboard and the USB versions sent with the PC are cheap and nasty! I thought I'd be able to use my old PCI ergonomic keyboard with it but no such luck.0

You mean PS2 sockets for the mouse and keyboard. You can get a microsoft comfort keyboard on ebuyer (item 96790) for £15 (using it now).
I'd say the NVidia 8800GT (ebuyer £135 item 139544) would be a better card at the moment, saying that though I've got the Radeon X1950 Pro and have no complaints.. As with anything else, it depends what you're willing to pay.

Oops! I knew what I meant (no idea why I said PCI!) Thanks for thatI'm going to try an adapter first which might allow me to use my old keyboard (found a cheap one on ebay, if it doesn't work I'll get a new keyboard)

Believe me the keyboard and mouse are horrible, definitely cheap and nasty, not like my very expensive PS2 ergonomic keyboard (which saves me from developing carpal tunnel syndrome)
As for the PCI/PS2 slip up, I was already corrected about that, it's easy to make a mistake when you've just been reading about graphics cards.
