estate agent advisers

Wondering can anyone help.

I am in the process of applying for trainee mortgage positions at various estate agents.

Can any estate agent advisers, give me an incline on what could be asked at an interview, for countrywide estate agents: bairstow, abbotts etc?

Thanks in advance.:p

I would think it's probably going to be along the lines of what can you offer/bring to the company. What are your strengths, do you work well under stressful conditions. Those are questions I was asked on a previous job (although along with what is your favourite colour  )

I have filled in a couple of nightmare application forms in the last few weeks. Questions I would have deemed necessary for management but, for office juniors or to clean hotel rooms part-time??

Make sure you seem confident even if you feel terrified, I think most EA would look for confident, assured people.

Fingers crossed you get an interview!

    INTERVIEWER: Are your parents married?

    YOU: Yes.

INTERVIEWER: Sorry you are ineligible for this job..

(I know it's an old one. But I couldn't resist)

#1. The people that run these "sell your house and rent back" companies are generally lying thieves and are best avoided

#2. This time next year house prices in general will be lower than they are now

#3. Cheap houses are a good thing not a bad thing

I' m not in the industry, but I feel you should consider some alternative career options at at the moment. The mortgage / house buying / selling industry may not deliver what you hope in the next few yrs' in terms of salary , prospects etc.

Had a quick look and I was surprised. Over 100 jobs, from £10k up to silly money
