Surely you already have IE with Vista?
 Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:
  • Misty - internet explorer is already a part of vista. Just find the internet icon...

Isn't the Caps Lock button on your keyboard working?

  • Not quite sure if its the same in Vista

But in XP if you go to control panel, then Add,remove Program, then on the left is a button "Set Program Access and Default"
here its possible to disable access to Microsoft web browser, so that only 3rd party browsers are available
maybe you have this set to "non microsoft" which would prevent access to IE

I expect Vista has a similar option

In Vista, if you can't find the icon juct click the start button and type 'ie' (without the quote marks) and press enter.

Thanks to all who replied. Bob the builder you were right.

I didn't have the cap lock on - even I'm not that dense! I fiddled about with the fonts in something and set the default to one with caps and then couldn't get them off.
  • Just though you might like to know that there is a iplayer specific site out there
