Today was world IPv6 day and as such many of the top sites were trialling IPv6 addressing running on their back end servers. This was a much needed trial due to the need to use IPv6 addressing because of the depletion of IPv4 addresses.
As many of us/ISP's only use IPv4 we would could have experienced a few delays with pages loading and even timing out in some circumstances.
Should be back to normal tomorrow as it was only a 24 hour trial.
