Many thanks Chunter and Totalsolutions I wanted to be absolutely sure there was nothing else before I do online banking etc. Have read lots today on wireless so think I have it all covered now at last. I'm grateful for all of the techie info on here, very useful.0

Hang on a mo...wireless and banking security thats a different kettle of fish. You need to be aware of phishing scams and double click web sites looking like your bank internet site. You need to have in place something to prevent keyloggers/trojans having room on the pc.
Wireless security is about securing your laptop/home network from others and banks security is not the same!0 -
Gambler, there is also some software out there that will get all the codes from your pc, including wep and wpa etc.
