Received from Smile Visa today:
"Hello MR D
As a smile credit card customer, we're required to let you know about any
changes relating to your account with smile. From the 1st August 2005
we'll be making the following changes to the smile credit card tariff, and
updating our website:
Late payment charges will increase from £15 to £25
Returned payment charges will change from £15/£30 to a flat £25
Over limit fee charges will increase from £20 to £25
Cheque fee charges will increase from 1.5% (maximum £20) to 2% (maximum of £25)
Copy sales voucher will decrease from £10 to £5
Stop a cheque (customer request) will decrease from £15 to £8
Stop a cheque (bank request) will increase from £15 to £30"

I got this e-mail too and it didn't bother me as I always pay bill on time and non of these so called 'fines' would ever apply to me. I like the cashback I get every month, think my SMILE Gold Visa is great!
