How much do you pay? Is £2 per day for lecky and Gas expensive?
I live on my own with three kids in a small 3 bedroom house. We are average users. I pay £2 a day for my lecky and Gas, thats around £60 a month  with Scottish Power
My lecky is keymeter and my gas a card meter.
can you tell me how much you spend via DD please because i'm hoping to phone S Power up to swap from meter to a DD monthly payment, because £60 a month is a lot of money or is that about right?

£60 per month - is that average or winter?
In any case £60 x 12 is £720 per year which is quite low for your house/family size.
Scottish Power are one of the cheapest suppliers.
What tariff rates are you on?British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -

Are they? Ok then i'll stay with them but i'm hoping that by swapping to DD payments the cost would be cheaper. I don't use that much Gas up during the summer, if anything i pay about £10 a month on Gas in the summer months.
So my usuage is ok then, thats what i wanted to know, thank you :beer:0 -

DD is cheaper than paying by card, you need to get out last years bills
find out total and then work out how much you use per month0 -

Worked mine out yesterday based on 9 days usage, over £7 a day, thats on direct debit at current prices with NPower....3 bed detatched, 2 adults and 2 brats.
I was putting on 7 electric and 5 gas a week 2 years ago in a small 3 bedroom, so no with the current increases, I don't think that is high. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
