I have a free flight to Kaunas departing 20 Feb for 4 nights?
Is it worth a visit? Any recommendations for a single traveller?

I only spent a day there whilst visiting the baltic region and whilst it wasn't a bad place i think you'd struggle to find enough to keep you occupied for 4 or 5 days. The main square is a nice place but apart from that there isn't much to do really.0

Haven't been as yet (planning for the summer) but there is a good bus service between kaunus & Vilinis and Kaunus & Riga (latvia). Kaunus to Riga the bus is 4 hours, to Vilnius I'd guess at 2. So you could spend one day in Kaunus and the rest elsewhere.0
