Daily Thread 19 Jan The All Day Birmingham Meet Party

Hope everyone is well!

Thought I'd start a thread to get the party going early to keep up with those who are travelling to Birmingham today.

Was amazed by a letter from the Abbey today out of the blue offering me a £1300 overdraft - I didn't contact them, they must have finally forgiven me for all the thousands of pounds of bank charges I took back off them!!

In the years gone by when I needed an overdraft (or a bigger one :o ) they wouldn't touch me with a barge pole, now I don't need one they are chucking it at me!!

I think a Leeds one would be very popular to be honest.

Snaggles unwisely said (during a drunken party) we could all go to her house...

    Morning gang

Just a quiet day cleaning the house here, I know i seem to do a lot of that but seriously I have the 3 untidiest kids on the planet.

I have to keep telling the bank I don't want an overdraft too keren, honestly, when you need money they won't give it to you and when you have money they throw it at you... some warped logic there isn't there.

The mad thing is, I called them about their kind offer and he said, oh, just a minute, what does it say on the letter? I told him £1300 and he said - it says £1750 on my screen - the underwriters must have changed it since the letter went out!!! £1750!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I was off to Birmingham today. Instead it'll be a day of homework and housework. Don't you just hate using the 'H' word?:rotfl:
