Primark Queues

Grrr....
Not really much anyone can do, I just need to rant a bit! I should've realised before I went in how bad it would be.
Just been to Primark in Manchester - had 1/2 hr spare, need cheap holiday clothes. Ended up giving up on trying things on due to stupid queue and too few cubicles (tried couple of tops on in the corner, but how do you try on bras, pants and trousers without stripping off?!)
Then... spent well over 30 minutes in queue for till. Need some clothes so didn't want to abandon after waiting all that time...
Therefore missed our train, had to get next one so OH has only just made it to work on time...
and, the trousers I couldn't try on don't even fit
Why are the till-people so slow?! I went to sign the card receipt (note - no Chip&Pin) but couldn't - till girls words: "erm, i've lost my pen" *till girl then looks at me dopily, turns round, tells her friend there's no pen then continues to do stand dopily and nothing, not even looking for a pen or asking anyone until lady behind me gets annoyed and offers her pen*
H&M was amost as busy but hardly any queues at till.
The amount of clothes that have been left on the floor and trampled on where people have abandoned is unbelievable.
I'd never been to Primark in Manc before (and doubt I will again), only the one in Derby. Although the Derby one is much smaller, there's hardly any queues, it's tidier and the staff are helpful, polite and have more than 3 braincells each!
BTW, anyone know where I can write / email Primark and complain. From what friends have said this sounds like standard 'service' from them, but I'd still like to let them know how annoyed I am. The only contact on their website is for HR.

I have also noticed this about Primark in Manchester. Despite all the tills being manned they are soooooooo slow. Customer Services is bad too.... despite having 7 tills going I still waited over 30 minutes in the queue.
Had the misfortune to visit the one in Tooting, London last week. It was like walking into a jumble sale, with almost more clothes on the floor than on the rails.... and the staff standing around chatting. :mad:0 -

I always find that H&M in London are quick and polite, never really tried Primark (i'm put off by the masses of school children in there on their lunch break)
Now... PRImark or PREEmark?
:P :hello:I remember when this was just a little website! :money:0 -
I've always found the staff in manchester's primark to be really quick, and customer services excellent. I go in there about twice a week and have never had a problem.0

While it is annoying that they are slow and dopey in Primark it is not the staff who have thrown the clothes on the floor! I have seen people knocking clothes from the rails and stands.. they do not bat an eyelid..just leave it there for pushchairs to wheel over! We can all have a good moan about the queues (terrible!) but at the end of the day where else can you get clothes so cheap??? Yesterday I was in there and bought a sleepover kit for my daughter - pyjamas, knickers, socks toothbrush and a bag for £1.00:money:I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes0

There always seems to be a long queue in the Manchester Primark. I waited for nearly 30 minutes recently. The check out staff don't seem to be particulary slow but I think they could certainly do with another check out area. Part of the trouble seems to be that people buy so much stuff that it takes ages just to fold and bag it.0
