Booking children in as adults...

If i book my two girls (13 & 16) in as adults on the airtours website (i.e. we then have 4 adults instead of 2 adults and 2 children) I can save about £300 on two weeks holiday. Are you allowed to do this? Has anyone done it and got away with it, or had any problems?

Comments

  • It has been done but you may have to do it in Travel agents or by telephone as online bookings will ask for dates of birth which will automatically book them as children.
This information will also be used to book the air ticket (whether an e-ticket or a proper paper one) so you could have trouble checking in.
  • My OH says he and his ex used to do this, 2 children as adults and youngest as child. (no more than 15,12,9 at the time)
