I would like to book a holiday either to the Lake District or Scotland but probably preferably Lake District if the places to stay are any good. These are the ones that are listed for the Lake District: Solway holiday village (Silicoth, Cumbria), Stanwix Park (Silicoth) and Lakeland HOliday Park (Nr Grangeover Sands).
i have seen of the resorts that are advertised and some are not that great as a town - such as tacky. so any tips would be useful . we dont like noisy places but more upmarket with facilities not too far away bearing in mind we have a toddler. we would consider other locations if the place is better . thanks in advance
