The hilton in Prague is not like any other Hilton the standards are not the same. I purchased a few shares in the Hilton group as ownership of 1 share only gives you a discount on the hotel prices. If you use the Hilton group a lot it is worthwhile.
No Matter what you do there will be critics.

How much discount? and is it off their "best available" or is it off "rack" rate.
How much is the share price?

Hi, I have looked at my privileged world of Hilton. You get 15 percent of total bill when booked on publicly available room rates. 15 percent of melas and drinks consumed in hotel restaurants when not resident at the hotel, 10 percent of joining and membership fees at LivingWell Health Clubs. 10 percent off weddings. 10 percent of Special Event Weekends. Free upgrade to superior accommodation (subject to availability on arrival). Hilton hotels outside the UK (not usa or canada or Mexico) 15 percent of published room rates and 15 percent off food and beverage while resident in the hotel. Has to be booked through shareholder hotline. The current share price today is about £2.85 per share. I must admit I have not used this yet but will perhaps take the other half away one weekend.

I also purchased mytravel shares because owning one share gave a 10 percent discount of holidays, however these have been converted recently to pari passu issue due to the restructuring so I do not know whether the discount is still available for next year. I booked extra early last year and got a fab price plus a further 10 percent off.

I use the Halifax Sharebuilder account which costs £1.50 per transaction. However you can only choose to purchase on a few days each month but to be honest the amount I buy it doesn't really matter.

Budget flyer nice to be returning the many tips you have given this site
