best place appears to be Alliance & Leicester's 6.50% eSaver account - anyone know of any other decent accounts i should consider?

  • If you don't currently have an ISA, perhaps get the three months in for this tax year, and then another £3,600 from April?

    Otherwise, A&L has a decent rate, but you lose the entire month's interest for any month you withdraw in. If you wanted the fallback of being able to get to your money if necessary, maybe something like Icesave's 6.3% would be the better option.
  • if you want an easy to open account dont bother with A & L just got info from them today they want certified ID you cant just send uitlity bills etc what ridculous faff they can shove it my dosh will go elsewhwere:rolleyes:
