Credit Balance on Creditcard
Comments

Its £2000 but i need all that money to pay for an electricity bill for my business and now i cant access my own money, which i normally pay by credit card anyway. Been trying to call them and they either disconnect me or i end up being on hold for 20mins while they talk to someone. Only £200-300 of that is money i made at SkyBet anyway.
Looks like the only way is by closing my account. Surely then they have to send me my money!0 -
Depends really, on what kind of stance they take.Looks like the only way is by closing my account. Surely then they have to send me my money!
HBoS credit card T&C's, for example, say that if you transfer funds that create a positive account balance they may return the money to the source account.
Are the bookies accounts still open? If not, and Barclaycard take the same stance, that may be a problem for you.
If you aren't getting anywhere on the phone, maybe you should write to them.0 -
Skycard are useless when you write to them.
I had no luck on the phone with sorting out my sky points redemption issue. Looks like I have 2 Sky TV accounts due to a setup issue and they constantly sed the redemptions to the wrong account.
I wrote to them so it would be clear about the account number details to use and all they did was send a letter back asking me to call the 0845 number.I beep for Robins - Beep Beep

Finally managed to sort it out, spoke to the manager and he was able to transfer the money back onto my debit card. Dont see why they were being so picky in the first place. Probably hoped i spent £60.00 getting my own money back by writing a cheque!
Thanks for everyones help though.0
