How risky is it to buy fairly new good quality secondhand taps? Is there anything to watch for-need to save some money on my kitchen.

Why buy them secondhand when you can pick up some pretty good quality taps on Ebay for about a third of the shop price. Unless of course your budget really won't stretch to new.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
