two royal doulton dinner sets bogof two for £40

The OH has just been into Debenhams and said they are doing the same offer i.e. £40 for a 20 piece set and BOGOF.
So even though we got ours ordered via Royal Doulton (and a bit less by using the code), if anyone is interested, then maybe Debenhams0 -
Many thanks for this, I was too late to get it online but bought it today at Debenhams in Stoke-on-Trent. I'm pleased with my purchase, although a little sad as a resident of North Staffordshire to see that it's manufactured in China.0

Found the same with the Royal Worcester Jamie Oliver items - saw some royal doulton items today that were made in Bangladesh - it's interesting that British companies state that they have to move production abroad because it's too expensive to produce goods in the UK, hoever when they move production abroad they don't reduce their prices.:rolleyes:0 -
still not received anything? site says accepted , i emailed on Friday and still heard nothing, has anybody got theirs yet?donstermonster0

I ordered this set and it went through the whole process including payment no problem. I then went back afterwards and bought the tea set to go with it. A day or so later I noticed that I had received a confirmation e-mail for the tea set only and when I logged onto the site there was no record of the dinner service. I e-mailed and was told in return that they had no record of my transaction and they were now out of stock, so I told them to cancel the tea set. The tea set turned up today with the spout of the tea pot broken.
I have bought the dinner service now from Debenhams on the BOGOF so would have kept the tea set if it had been okay. So I'm really not impressed by Royal Doulton.
Good luck and I hope yours turns up okay.0 -
