Just received a call from a sales agent at primus changing my old package onto the Saver 2 - stops me spending the £2.99 for my older package.
After this he tried to sell me line rental which i wasnt interested in till I was told it was only a 6 month contract
bit better than their original 18 month offer eh!!!:D:D
No free month this time just a flat rate of £10.49 for 6 months which is renewed automatically if i dont cancel.
Was also told that the over-ride codes for cheaper daytime calls will still work even though it's not a BT line.
Waiting on Terms and conditions arriving after accepting their offer!!

IMHO its always best to read the T&C first before signing.
Saver 2 is free anyway, and you will save only 6p over 6 months compared to BT cheapest line rental. Plus if you have nearly free caller display now, Primus will start charging you it for it fully, which will wipe out the savings?0 -
i understand saver is free however i was paying 2.99 for the equivalent freetalk package
I think having everything all on one monthly bill is better as opposed to minimal savings0 -
I got a call where all my calls are being reduced from £8.49 to £5.99 a month.I refused to have my line rental switched over to them though:rolleyes:"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

A wise move me thinks not to move line rental from BT.;)
But bearing in mind that Primus Saver 2 is free for evening and weekend calls and 18185 only charge 5p for a peak geographical call is it worth paying the extra £5.99p a month,as this would buy you nearly 27 peak calls a week, and you wouldnt have to pay if you were not using it. EG. Holidays.0 -
MMM now you put it like that, i'll have a think about it;)billsavings wrote: »A wise move me thinks not to move line rental from BT.;)
