Sounds more like The Link stopped sending the DD request for a few months, then started again, rather than that Clem had cancelled it and then it restarted of its own accord.

However, either way, agsnu is quite correct - if you HAVE cancelled it (rather than just thought "oh, it's stopped") then you can get subsequent payments refunded.

I have noticed the same direct debit coming out and it is a mobile phone insurance that i took out years ago - I cancelled my policy with vodaphone and the link almost a year ago.

The company is called Coverplan and can be contacted on 0844 561 4000 or 0844 800 6080.

I asked about a refund as i havent had a phone for a year and they replied that I should have cancelled the direct debit through them as it is a totally different company to vodafone.

does anyone know how I can go about getting this money back????
