Egg limit increase!...Sorry another egg mastercard thread!

After reading the many many... many threads about benefits of the egg card I applied and got accepted however a with a miseley £500 limit

after a lengthy argument they gave me the old line leave it 3-6 months etc

Had the card 6 months ran perfectly, rang and was given an increase straight away to £1,000

I would of thaught if anything it would be even harder to get a limit increase from egg, considering the 'credit crunch' and all

Has anyone else had a success story from egg recently? If not try for an increase if you need one and let me know!

Thanks

Egg Money generally has a lower credit limit than you may get elsewhere because of the ability for it to go into credit. Although it can be used like any other credit card it's marketed in a way to promote having a credit balance.

By the way, there's no need to phone them if you need to change your credit limit again, it can be done online through their website.
  • I got one around 5 months ago and it had a £750 limit, I got a letter yesterday telling me my limit had been increased to £1100!!
  • I have always found egg very good with the limits they give i've been with them for about 2 yrs and have both an egg c/card limit £15k & an egg money card Limit 7k.
