Why don't you ring the bank and ask them 08457203040...they will tell you0
-
Probably stands for International Transfer of funds.
You should now phone your Banks Helpline..........

No-one here can tell you the answer but your bank should be able to. And only your bank can help you if the transaction is not correct.
BTW, for many people, it is cheaper to phone Halifax on 01793 656789, rather than use their 0845 number.0 -
That 01793 number is the number I normally use for Nationwide, do they share a call centre with Halifax?0

It's not an 'Internal transfer' (as in .. between your accounts) .. as that merely shows 'Transfer' (unless it's an SO between accounts).
So ... I guess post #3 has it at 'International transfer'?If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -

I love all these geographical numbers instead of the 0870/0845/0844 etc which don't count in my call packages. and are a sleazy underhand money-making scam for everyone from banks to our local GP. Can I recommend to everyone a brilliant site www.saynoto0870.com and ask that you visit and register all the alternative numbers you have0
-
Well they count on my call package, so why would I want to go to your offered site?0
-
They used to count in my O2 package but the terms have recently changed. Maybe you don't wish to go to the offered site, RayWolfe, but I think it's a very useful link.

Thanks for highlighting it, punchingjudy
