I am trying to find graphics and sound drivers for the laptop
mentioned in the title but having no luck:(
The graphics are ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 IGP. For the sound I
have installed soundmax from the HP website but its not working?
Anyone have any ideas?

Quick update, got the graphics drivers installed and running sweet
just need to get the sound working now.

Did you get the drivers from here?

In that case, do the following.
Use Start -> Run -> winmsd
Expand +Components and then select Problem Devices
You will then see all the devices that are not installed correctly.
Each will have an identity string similar to "PCI\VEN_nnnn&DEV_xxxx"
nnnn is the VENdor code and xxxx is the DEVice code.
Now use the following for info. http://www.linux-usb.org/usb.ids
It's for linux users, but Vendor & Device codes are just as valid.
Then use Google to search for drivers from appropriate vendor.
