Man Airport T1 from train (time)

Been a few times to Manchester airport,but never spotted the rail station.
Can anyone advise if it is 5/10 minute walkable,or is there a shuttle etc.?
Need to get to terminal 1.

Depends how much luggage you have, but the train station IS walkable from T1. It is situated near T2.
You can pick up/leave trolleys very close to the platform so if you have a lot of luggage then that should help.
i don't think there's a shuttle though........

i think it is half way between both main terminals , if you get on the walkway going from t1 to t2 its in the middle by hotels and a few shops0
