What are the some of the alternatives for where to purchase tickets for a premier league football game?
Is there a discount ticket sales company?

You can rarely buy official tickets through discount ticket companies.
If you look at the website for the team that you wish to see, you should be able to buy them direct, or they will list authorised agents.
Do not buy from unauthorised agents. You will pay way above cost price, and may never receive your tickets.Gone ... or have I?0 -
Your best bet would be to try some of the clubs that don't seem to be capable of filling their grounds, even when the "big boys" visit.
Look at this:-
http://itv.stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/PR/attend.html
Try those at the bottom of the table; unless you know someone who is a club member you will not get tickets for those at the top.0 -
You can also try Ticketmaster for some Prmeiership football games....

Hope this helps,

As a Bolton Season Ticket holder, I'd say stay away for a while, our home performances are dire!!!
I'd always buy tickets direct from the club too, you know you're not going to get stung!
Have a look for UEFA and other cup deals too, not always 2 premiership teams, but often more exciting games!!
Bolton have a really good deal on for their UEFA game next week!

Many teamsdo Kids for a Quid on certain games too, so if you are a family, that can be good value..... though check if its 1 kid per adult for the offer as it usually is!♥.0 -
Got to your local lower league or non league club.
The cost of the tickets, a pie and a programme for four will probably be less than the cost of one ticket to the Greed is Good league and you won't have to watch a load of foreign show ponies falling over every time another player comes near themIt's taken me years of experience to get this cynical0 -

at the moment you ca book to go to man utd to see them play espanyol 2/8 and juventus 6/8 prices start at £10 adult £5 child
whilst not premier league matches, these are amazing prices to see top quality football, and the kids will see some of their favourites too.
the juventus game on the 6th is also a chance to see the players parade their trophies around the stadium, and not only that, the fun starts at 5pm with a pre match match.
check the website for details.
the 2nd august match is a testimonial for ole solsjkaer. bargain prices and general sale tickets.
