Undisclosed-Recipient:;

Hi

I've received an email (OE) from someone I know. Instead of showing my address as the recipient it said 'Undisclosed-Recipient:;'.

I assume this arises from the email having been sent to various people.

Does anyone know exactly how to do that? It would be useful to know.

This will happening when the sender puts the address in the BCC box, it means they can have multiple addresses in there and all you will see is undisclosed-recipient,

Sorry, are you chaps entirely sure about that?

A few years ago I tested the OE bcc option using two private
PCs both running OE and two PCs on a company network both running Lotus.

The results, on all four computers, were that the address or addresses in the 'to' box could see all the addresses in the 'to' box but nothing else. All the addresses in the 'bcc' box could see all the 'to' addresses and all the 'bcc' addresses.

Could there be some other factor involved?
