Losing dial up conection

Out in Spain and dialling up via my laptop - using a couple of ISP's Telefonica and GoNuts4free, but both keep losing my connection.

Using Vista, the connection is classed as a network, and then when the pages won't move it has gone from local and internet to local only (ie the laptop).

Can anyone think why this is happening, it does not seem to lose the line just the ability to connect to the net, it is making surfing rather tedius to say the least, it can last from 5 mins to half an hour, no telling which.

Thanks

Seems this is an issue for lots of Vista users.

One person fixed this by disabling iPv6.

Start>Network>Network and Sharing Center>Manage Network Connections. Open the properties of the connection. Uncheck TCP/IPv6.

    Worth a try
