Message from seller: If you are interested in my offer please reply me at my work email address: cametastock(=at=)cametastock.com I have this product for sale. The sale price will be your bidding price and this include all shipping fees. If you are interested in my offer please reply me at my work email address: cametastock(=at=)cametastock.com IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: CONTACT THE SELLER BEFORE SENDING THE PAYMENT AT: CAMETASTOCK(=AT=)CAMETASTOCK.com
I'm not sure whether to contact the original seller but there is not much point if their account has been hijacked so I am gong to report it to ebay instead.
Just thought I would let people know about this scam or so it seems.
Has anyone else had emails like this?

Hi
I had about 5 emails yesterday all saying the same as yours! I forwarded them to spoof@ebay.co.uk who will look into it. Had a reply today to say they can confirm that it was not sent by ebay or paypal.
I have had some replies too from people that I allegedly sent these email to. I have not responded to these, in case they are not real too!!
does anyone know if this will affect my rating?0 -
I had a SCO last week for an item I bid on in Novemeber,I thought it strange ,so long ago!
I wonder if that was a spoof?
It was extra odd as a SCO as I had won another of the same item a few days later from the same seller!
Edit,
Just checked it and it seems OK ,mentions my full name ,email etc.
Didn't click on anything though!:j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -
Hi, I have just received 20 second chance offers from this person. I have been bidding for a camera from canon and I have had a second chance for them all. I only wish this was genuine because the prices so low.
I found this site by accident from googling "cametastock".

Yeah exactly the same happened to me!
"Good news! The following eBay item for which you bid £294.32 on 12-Dec-07 12:22:56 GMT is now available for purchase:"
Suspicious due to time since I bid for the item, and that the offer was £100+ lower than what it originally sold for. A Canon 30d, too BTW!
Thank heavans for google and MSE forums.0
