average elec costs
Just had last quarter elec bill from edf just for lighting and cooking (no heating except underfloor on timer in bathroom)it was £260. (£85 pcm) Large 3 bed family home with 5 people. I am not saying the bill is wrong.just wanted to know if it was excessive. Spend on gas central heating is £600 PA.

Much higher than average. The average being 3,300kWh(units) per year - say, £300 - £350 a year.
Underfloor electric heating can cost a huge amount though!0
