The MSE'er that I forwarded my confirmation e mail to was initially refused the tickets because the e mail was "forwarded". The clerk pointed out that the e mail could have been forwarded to many people. A bit of a sticky moment but she tried again with a different clerk and was given the tickets with no problem.

I had just clicked "forward" to send the e mail but maybe it would have been better to save the original in Word and send that instead. How have others been doing this?

I gave my tickets to my parents in the hope that we would be free to go if i got more (you have to live in hope dont you) but even without these 'free' ticket sites it is not up and running so all may not be lost.

I must admit that when I got the forwarded email I print-selected only the part with the confirmation on it, not the bit at the top which makes it clear that it is forwarded. But at the end of the day there is a name on the confirmation ticket, surely they are not giving out many tickets for the same name, so I don't see a problem really.

I went on Saturday with someone else's free tickets. They didn't ask for ID so had no idea it wasn't my email address...

I've applied twice but haven't been lucky enough but I would love to take them off your hands but obviously have none to swap
