How long's a piece of string? It can be anything upto a few hours before the show. You just need to keep checking you inbox.

I applied yesterday @ 1.15pm for tonight's performance. I received my confirmation email @ 12.15pm today

pudding, have you checked your junk/spam folder? The first e mail usually goes there as the sender comes up as Unknown.

When you apply, you should receive an 'Invitation' email. I'm not sure what the origin of the email address is, but when I reply to it, the emaill address is : AFRIKA! AFRIKA! reply form - which indicates that the invitation is automatically generated from the Online Request Form.

The Ticket confirmation email telling you that you have complimentary tickets is from [EMAIL="experience@afrika-afrika.com"]experience@afrika-afrika.com[/EMAIL]

lol, that e mail is just to let you know they have received your request. If you are successful in getting tickets then you will get another one confirming everything, it should go to your inbox. You may only get the second e mail a few hours before the show starts.
