Hi,
If i buy this:
http://www.span.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=16308
Can i put in 2 3.5" hard drives of differing sizes (one 320Gb and one 750GB) and have them show up on iMac as two separate drives?
Can i connect these two drives with just one FW800 or FW400 cable?
Will the Read/Write performance be good?
I basically need the 320GB drive as a scratch drive for video editing and the 750GB as a drive for storing movies/music/files etc
I'm not looking for RAID or JBOD (i don't think?) - just one external enclosure with 2 drives inside, and one cable to connect them to the iMac
Am i alright with this product above, do i need something else, or am i asking the impossible??
