in Credit cards
i currently have a credit card debt of £2000 at 10.9% interest. My credit rating is not billiant as i am a student, so was wondering if anyone could recommend a solution to reducing my payments. A nice 0% balance transfer would be lovely but are there any that offer this to mediocre credit scores?
Please help!

Who is your current debt with? They may do deals of greatly reduced interest rates for existing customers. Other than that it may be worth trying who you bank with (unless this is your card).
I found IF (Intelligent Finance) to be reasonable with credit limts. After that I think it is pot luck. Maybe one of the MBNA group?
Good luck - some else may have further advise and it may be worth posting this on the debts board.0 -

I have read that Egg are willing to give students a CC ...tho they do now levy a fee of 2% on BTs in the initial promo period ...tho not in the anniversary period.God save the King!
I'll save Winston Churchill, Jane Austen, J. M. W. Turner and Alan Turing.0
