used hdmi cable to connect V+ to TV but tv says no signal!

have to have V+ connected via scart socket.
dvd player is connected into other scart socket and picks up no probs.

also VCR needs to be connected.

after much fiddling with cables still no better off and now I have no mini menu on the bottom when tv button pressed on cable remote and no reaction when home button is pressed etc..
sorry all a bit long winded but any help greatly recieved.

Your V+ box seems to have 'hung'. Try switching off at the mains and power on again after say 20-30 seconds. You should get your V+ back again, through your scart.

Using your remote you need to set up your V+ box to enable the HDMI output. From memory you should press home and then help and the V+ box will give you a video tutorial on how to change your display settings. After you are confident of what needs to be done, you can alter the settings.

After you have done this, turn your TV to the HDMI input and you should be all set up.

I did this about 2 weeks ago and all is going well.
