Hyundai warranty & Service advice please?

Options
Hi All

Does anyone know if I have to have my car serviced with Hyundai in order to keep the five year warranty. My car is a 2004 model so think it is in it's fourth year of the five year warranty. I have had it serviced free of charge with Hyundai up until now but the next service is due and is going to cost me alot through Hyundai. Especially annoying when I can get a 'free' full service by using tesco vouchers at an Nationwide Autocentre.

Anyone know what the form is?

Cheers guys!;)

You do not need to have the car serviced by Hyundai to maintain the warranty, however, the service must be done by a garage and use parts of an equal quality.

However, I'd find another garage and pay cash. Nationwide have a nationwide reputation for their work, and I mentioned them offhand to an AA patrol last week and he agreed. Try a search on here and google for nationwide

What warranty? The Hyundai five year warranty is an illusion and I've got the car to prove it. Before anyone buys an Hyundai get in contact with me. The dealers are trained to deny the existence of faults, even serious ones.
