my computer is running quite slow and i also have alot of things comin up that i dont want i have virgin pc guard but it only says i have anti virus and firewall would i be better upgrading to the plus one which has anti spywear parental control and identity theft protection i only ask as i dontwant to pay extra if i dont need to

Blimey, have you ever used punctuation: commas and full-stops? I ran out of breath reading that!

You can remove all the Virgin stuff if you like and install some good quality free software, have a read of the various FAQs on this forum.

But make sure you know what you are doing first...

I'd suggest using: AVG for anti-virus, Comodo or ZoneAlarm for firewall, and lots of choices for Anti-spyware: AdAware, SpyBot S&D, Spyware Blaster etc.
