I booked a holiday to New York for 2 of us, unfortunately 1 person cannot make this. Having phoned the travel company I cant change the names on the tickets, they say because its a scheduled flight, know its my fault for not checking but anyone got any ideas on what I can do, if anything ??

Have you got travel insurance?
Not really anything you can do, aside from reclaim taxes as I'm presuming you have a discounted economy fare that isn't eligible for refunds.0 -
Hadnt taken travel insurance out yet as didnt go until Early Feb.
