Halifax 0% 15 month card

I have just received this card and it is the first credit card for me. Being a CC newbie I have read the T&C and I am now a little confused...
On the T&C there is a rate box will shows the interest rates. The introductory offer of 0% is listed as lasting for 15 months. In the text below, it then explains how interest is allocated.
For purchases it ststes that interest won't be charged on goods for 59 days so long as the items are paid in full when payment is due. Does this refer to the period AFTER the 15 month 0% deal, or have I completely misunderstood the benefit of this card?
Regards
Malcolm

which card do you have ... is it 0% on balance transfers or purchases or what?
but in general the bit about not being charged interest for up to 59 days applies once the special offers end.0 -
Sorry, 15 month 0% on purchases. As this is my first card, I had no balance to transfer, though there is a 0% period for transfers if I wanted.
Everytime I had been into the branch for about a year, Halifax kept telling me I was guaranteed a CC, though I viewed this with suspiscion. Of course as soon as MSE stated it was the best for purchases, I reconsidered my position...0 -
If it is 0% on purchase then you will pay no interest until the promotion period is over. you must of course pay the monthly minimum payment on time.
Do not withdraw cash.
Once the promotion period is over if you pay the full balance each month then you will pay no interest.0
