As far as i know that form only covers you for medical insurance, not anything else. You can take out insurance quite cheaply to cover you for cancellation of your holiday, credit card, cash and travellers cheques been stolen, it will also cover you for missing bags, cameras, personal liability etc, a few quid well spent in my book, enjoy your holiday.

We use https://www.direct-travel.co.uk you can book on line with them and they are reasonable £20 for 2 adults for 2 weeks. As bluemorph stated a e111 form will only cover you for medical insurance whilst away. If you hapened to have a accident on holiday and needed to be air-lifted home a e111 form would not cover this.
