IE - Favourites > Organise Favourites
Firefox - Bookmarks > Organise Bookmarks.
FIrefox is more flexible to delete batches from the browser.
OR you can delete and sort out from Windows, IE's favourite are stored in:
C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Favorites0 -
But still dont seem to be able to delete more than one at a time when I use this C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Favorites.Jan Grocery challenge

To select multiple files, hold down the shift key when clicking for a continuous selection, or the control key for a non-continuous selection (i.e. ctrl click each one).
Or View as list view, small icons etc, and draw a selection marquee around them.
Have a read of: http://www.kent.ac.uk/is/computing/helpdesk/apps/windows/explorer/3.4.selecting.html0 -
I just right click the favourites and choose sort by name.0
