Which makes of shower enclosures are good quality?

I have found many websites advising to buy a good quality shower enclosure but no suggestions as to which brands are good quality! I am looking for a square enclosure with a pivot door, in a silver finish.

Many thanks in advance!

    I have a Roman:

Not cheap, but very good quality. I got mine over e-bay (new) at a very good discount.

We have 3 Niagra shower enclosures. Can't fault them. The oldest has been in for 5 years and still looks/operates like brand new.

We bought one from e-bay (primrose bathrooms) and are well chuffed. Even our fitter was impressed

We have a Kudos enclosure and this seems very good quality to us - we have a quadrant corner style and it feels good and solid - we've had it for just over 3 years.

    Hi
I having a new shower room and am looking for a 800cm quadrant shower enclosure. I was on the verge of buying the Bathstore Atlas one (sliding doors), but my builder informed me that they would need to run the waste under the shower tray (the only solution apparently, something to do with where the loo is going to be located), so I will need clearance under the tray. The bathstore tray is solid composite stone and no good.

I then started looking at the B&Q Zone quadrant shower enclosure with a raised fibreglass (fairly solid, not spring) tray which would give clearance.

So onto my question, are B&Q shower enclosures any good? Also, has anybody got any other suggestions of quadrant sliding door 800 shower enclosures with a fibreglass tray giving clearance underneath:cool: ?

Sorry chocolate-muncher, I went straight onto my problem without giving any advice on yours!
I believe that Bathstore are good quality (although I'm no expert here) and they have a good sale on now.

In the sale brochure they are showing an Atlas Hinge door 800 (silver) for £299 reduced from £599, or a 1200 slider door for £349 reduced from £699.

The trays aren't in the sale though.

Also, before when renovating I have gone into builders merchants like plumbase or Grahams and they have got me the bath/shower/loo of my choice at a discounted price. Hmmm, actually I forgot that, I might try that myself!
