Was it a good film? I bought the original soundtrack to that years ago, fantastic music! I fancy the film, so if you recommend it I might spend money going to the cinema, haven't been for over 3 years when I went to see the first Harry Potter film. It was expensive for 2 back then at the UCI in our local city. Dread to think what it costs now!

War of the worlds is ok. Not a big sci fi epic with battles or such and scientists explaining everything, but told from ordinary guys perspective. Battles take place mostly off screen. Effects are good and the little girls acting is excellent.

The war of the worlds album is nothing to do with the original film though this film has lots of stuff that I remember from the first. The start and end narration (virtualy the same words as the original) is terrible. Wrong speed and disjointed.

If you have £5 to spend go see this, just don't buy the overpriced fizzy drinks and hotdogs. If you take your own food you have to sneak it in (like I did).
    Regards
