Credit cards and interest

Ok, i'm new to all this credit card stuff as i have only had visa/debit cards and my balance has always been in credit.

These cashback cards, what is the best rate around?, i will be starting my own website and the start up costs will be quite alot so i plan to put it on a credit card, pay it off in full and pick up the rewards of the cashback.

When i have to pay it off at the end of the month, will there be an interest rate on top of my purchases or do i just pay off the purchase amounts?

Firstly, if you are NEW to credit cards you'll probably not going to get the best cards available and possibly not even a cashback card. You have to build a credit history/relationship with a creditor using a basic or low limit card before anything else.

You only pay interest on purchases if you DO NOT clear your balance in FULL by the required payment date.
