Doh! I got a £1 room...........I hope!

I put in the date I wanted a Sunday night but after I paid, I managed to book the Monday night. Disaster. Luckily, I managed to book the Sunday night at the £1 rate - yippee. I have sent them an apologetic email - hoping that do not cancel both the rooms. Just the one!

Thought i'd got a Sat night in April but I've not received confirmation.. nevermind, i'll stick with the dingy Kings Cross Travelodge at £26 p/n.

I've seen/heard about places in London way worse than Travelodge. Travelodge is pretty decent actually

The Hoxton left me a voicemail as I booked 2 rooms - see above for my original post.

They have cancelled the booking that was for the wrong date - result! I told them I put in the correct date but that the booking came out for the following date. They said it was probably all the traffic on the website. Managed to bag a £1 room for definite! Fantastic!

The next sale will be in April - so for those who missed out, there will be another chance soon. Looks like they are doing this every quarter
