Wagamamas seem to have put nuts in my food...

I'm sorry to hear you had a bad reaction; eating out's supposed to be a treat and getting sick's really miserable! SaraSeahorse is right - it could be that the person making your food used a utensil that had nut traces or didn't wash their hands thoroughly enough, or used nut oil or something. I suppose with every intolerance/allergy it's up to you first of all to make the staff aware of the issue, and then it's what happens after that. Even if it doesn't say that the dish may contain nut traces, you're better off assuming that they do, better safe than sorry. My mum has the same reaction to cheese, and whenever we go for a meal she makes very sure to mention this to the waitstaff even if the dish doesn't mention it, just to avoid getting sick. Personally, I'd use the vouchers (making sure the staff were completely aware of the problem) or give them to friends/family as a gift, because I don't think they'd sell as easily on eBay as, say, M&S vouchers, but that's just me.2015 comp wins - £370.25
