Hi,
Flybe are offering a free return flight if you apply for their credit card. Upon signing for the Flybe MasterCard, members – upon their first transaction - automatically receive one free return flight anywhere on the Flybe network
Is there a ‘catch’ to this deal that I need to be aware of?

No catches, but of course with all offers you must read and understand the terms and conditions.
The card is provided by Sygma Bank UK and once the card has been activated and used for a purchase you will be fully entitled to one free flight exclusive of "taxes, surcharges, insurance, advanced seat assignment, baggage, customs fines, immigration fees, airport charges, fuel surcharges, agricultural inspection fees, security, customer user fees or any other charges related to the booking"0
