hi guys,
i have just done a balance transfer from a halifax one card to a barclays platinum card 0%
iam 'tarting' the balance from card to card until its paid off.
would i be correct in thinking if i buy ANYTHING on this new card now, i will start to be charged interest for the whole outstanding balance?

No you will only pay 'purchase ' rate of interest on the purchases and not on the BT balance.
However, all your monthly repayments will be deducted from the BT component so you will be paying purchase APR on the full purchase balance until the BT bit is paid off.
So dont use it for purchases...0 -
excellent, thanks for that.
i dont intend to use it for purchases.:money::money:0
