I am looking for a hotel/villa - at least 3* for 1 week for 2 adults and 2 children (2 and 5) flying from a London airport or Southend?

We can go on Sat 16th July or at a push Friday 15th July at night.

The budget is £1500 any chance of getting anything.

Would like Portugal or Turkey, but anywhere would be acceptable for this budget. Somewhere where there isnt too many louts though, maybe a bit secluded but not too difficult to get around, would consider hiring a car if necessary. Would prefer somehwere with a spa nearby maybe!

I know I am asking for a lot, but if you dont ask you dont get!

Southend Airport currently only flys passengers to Jersey and then only on a Saturday !

I've just booked a weeks holiday to Turkey through last minute.com @ £269 per adult to a 4 star named hotel, Half board. No children travelling though. There did seem to be quite a few offers, so suggest you search there for a start.

How about something like this. Fly from luton to tenerife with Monarch on the 16th for £399.
stay at the 4* Bittacora hotel (gets brill reviews) for £651 with wintersunshineholidays.co.uk
then hire a car for £150 for a week to see the island, you can go up mount tiede, take the kids to the aqua park, go to see the parrot show. and loads of other things.
