e mail query?

I had outlook express as the default e mail on my computer but I have never fully installed / configured it as I just used my web based mail. However I must have done something as aol has now become my default e mail. Although I have an aol e mail ( but not an aol customer) I go to enter my password, it says not recognised and the I can't get rid of the blinkin pop up!
So is there anyway to use my aol sign up, or how do I just get back to outlook eexpress ( maybe one of these days I'll actually work out how to use it!!!)

Sounds like AOL has declared itself the default Email application. Uninstall AOL if you no longer use it. It is a demanding piece of junk anyway.
  • I only use its e mail but I access that via the web. Would it matter if I uninstalled it, could I still use the web based free e mail?

    Web based is totally independent.

As long as you have a browser you can access it.

Wouldn't matter in the slightest if you uninstalled it. Just use your AOL webmail like you normally do.
