Barclays Home Insurance !!!!!

The property that I did have let out to tenants, suffered some storm damage last week. I rang Barclays to report the claim and they assured me the matter would be dealt with swiftly due to it being a rental property.
I thought that was all dealt with, however Barclays assigned the claim against an incorrect address so that caused initial delays. I only discovered this fact when their subcontractors had no record of the insured property address ! This is despite me providing the claims agent with the insurance policy number and the address of the property concerned.
I asked them to arrange a visit time directly with my tenant (with my tenant's agreement) to gain access to the property, instead the Barclays' subcontractor kept ringing me, despite me being 100s of miles away.
Eventually I managed to arrange an appointment for the surveyor to visit, unfortunately I was advised of the wrong times by the call centre staff and thus the appointment was missed. The appointment should now hopefully occur later this week.
I currently now have an empty, leaking property as my tenants have moved out as their tenancy has ended, and I am unable to show the property to potential new tenants until it is all fixed.
So double check if you make a claim with Barclays that they assign it against the insured property and not against another one.
